Huntley High School is proud to announce seven students who have been named Commended Students in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. A letter of commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) will be presented to these scholastically talented seniors.
The seven students are among some 34,000 nationwide to earn this level of recognition, placing among the top five percent of more than 1.6 million students who entered the competition by taking the 2015 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
The students are: Heather E. Baldacci, Henry J. Haase, Jonathan W. Kaye, Amy Lian, Palak P. Patel, Shamika M. Patil, Annelise N. Silkaitis.

“It is our honor to present this level of recognition to these students,” said Superintendent John Burkey. “This Commendation represents both tremendous achievement on the work they have done in that past and great potential for success as they move into higher education and careers.”
