Approximately 125 colleges and universities and more than 20 area high schools will participate in Huntley High School’s inaugural IACAC-Recognized College Fair, to be held from 6:00-8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017, in the HHS Field House.
In recognition of Huntley as an area with booming growth that promotes a college-going culture, the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC) has approved HHS to be a host site for its geographic area.
In addition to learning about the colleges and universities in attendance, the event will feature a presentation for parents and students by financial aid expert from Lake Forest College.
Attendees are encouraged to use Strive Scan, a free smartphone app that helps students maximize their college search and networking capabilities. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. More information can be found at https://www.strivescan.com/.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and high school students of all grades are encouraged to attend! For full information about the fair, including lists of colleges and high schools attending, visit www.district158.org/hhs/college-fair.
