Three players in the Huntley High School basketball program achieved the milestone of 1,000 career points in the past week.
Kamsi Nwogu, a junior on the girls basketball team, and Ryan Sroka, a senior boys basketball player, each attained the milestone at tournaments over the Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend.
Nwogu’s moment came during the team’s fifth-place game at the Dekalb MLK Tournament.

Sroka notched his 1,000th point in the Wheaton-Warrenville MLK tournament, during which he scored 42 points over two games and was named to the all-tournament team.
Earlier in the week boys basketball senior Uchenna Ugekeze scored his 1,000th career point in a win over Hampshire High School.
Thanks to my wife for the video of Chenna’s 1,000th point! Thanks to the Hampshire athletic department and Coach Featherly for giving Chenna an awesome moment. Very classy pic.twitter.com/tFs0LvzFTg
