Huntley High School senior David Ferrante claimed the IHSA Class 3A 170-pound title on Saturday, making him a two-time state champion following his top finish in 2019 and leading the Red Raiders team that has a number of top individual finishes.
Ferrante is committed to wrestle collegiately at Northwestern University. His championship last year marked the school’s first individual wrestling championship.
