Recognizing American Diversity (RAD) will be hosting their FINAL community event, an Asian Fusion Festival recognizing and celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander heritage on Thursday, May 11 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Marlowe Middle School!

This FREE festival will feature local food vendors, music, dancers, and more who can share the culture and heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Students and community members of all ages are welcome to join in on the festivities! Don’t miss RAD’s LAST community event of the school year!

The goals of Huntley 158’s Recognizing American Diversity (RAD) initiative are to recognize, celebrate and discover diverse perspectives and identities that have historically been underrepresented. Each month, we host one community event that celebrates diverse voices and provides us with opportunities to discover more about the community and cultures all around us.  You can learn more about the Recognizing American Diversity initiative and monthly events, visit our website here.
