Dr. Anna Hoyou has been a principal in Huntley 158 at both Mackeben Elementary and Conley Elementary School. Principal Hoyou’s track record of success in building relationships with students and staff, guiding social-emotional learning, and leading school improvement plans have defined her career at Conley and across our district.

Mrs. Surjan joined Conley Elementary School as the assistant principal at the start of the 2021-2022 school year. Prior to becoming a school administrator, Mrs. Surjan was a middle school English Language Arts teacher for 12 years. She holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Aurora University, a master’s of science degree in reading to earn her reading specialist endorsement, and achieved her National Board Certification in English Language Arts for Early Adolescence. Currently, Mrs. Surjan is working towards her education specialist degree for her superintendency certification.
