- No medications or supplements can be given at school without a written doctor’s order, including over the counter medications such as Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, and cough drops!
- Medications should only be given at school if they are essential to ensure a successful or safe day, including daily medications for focusing and attention, asthma, diabetes, seizures.
- By school code, students are not allowed to carry any medications (prescription and/or non-prescription). If a student is found to have medication in their possession the medication will be confiscated and the student will be referred for disciplinary action.
- The only exception to this rule are asthma medications and Epi-pens for severe allergies.
