Dr. Scott Rowe was named superintendent of Huntley 158 effective July 1, 2018, after an extensive national search.
Rowe began his career as a social studies teacher and assistant principal in other districts before joining Huntley 158 in 2011 as principal of Marlowe Middle School. He was principal of Huntley High School for five years preceding his appointment as superintendent.
During his time at HHS, he was instrumental in implementing the school’s nationally recognized Blended Learning Program and 1:1 learning initiative, and the establishment of its Medical Academy, Engineering Academy, and new Fine Arts and Global Academies. In addition, he led the core planning team for the school’s recent $35-million renovation and addition project.
Rowe holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University and master’s and doctoral degrees in education from Aurora University.
He and his wife, Melissa, live in Huntley and have two children who attend Huntley 158 schools.
