The Village of Huntley, Community School District 158, The Huntley Park District, The Huntley Fire Protection District, The Huntley Area Public Library, and the Huntley Police Department are collaborating for a week-long series of events for families to explore the Friendly Village with Country Charm.
When you attend one of these events, you can pick up a lanyard and passport with additional information about Enjoy Huntley. Get your passport stamped at the various Enjoy Huntley events and return the passport* by August 8, 2022 and be entered into a drawing to win one of several Enjoy Huntley experiences.

Sunday, July 31 | 11 a.m. Bike Huntley
Check in and registration begins at 10 a.m.
Location: Town Square/Coral Street
Join the Huntley Police Department on a community bike ride followed by a picnic in the Town Square!

Monday, August 1 | 5:15 to 6 p.m. Family Magic Show
Location: Cosman Center
The Huntley Park District is excited to bring this laugh-filled show featuring magician Gary Kantor live on stage in the Cosman Theater. Fun entertainment for the whole family! 2 & under who sit on a lap are free. Individuals 3 and older require a ticket.
Monday, August 1 | 7:30 p.m. Raiders Come Together Movie Night at the Huntley High School Football Stadium
Location: Huntley High School (13719 Harmony Rd, Huntley, IL 60142) – Red Raider Football Stadium
Join Huntley 158 as we gear up for our return to school and reconnect with a community-wide movie night at the Red Raider stadium! Students, families and community members of all ages are welcome to attend. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and enjoy a screening of How to Train Your Dragon. Families may choose to bring their own food or beverages and use our stadium seating. Only water will be allowed on the field. No concessions will be provided. No registrations required – We hope to see you there!

Wednesday, August 3 | 5 to 8 p.m. Huntley Fire Open House
Location: Huntley Fire Protection District Station 1 – 11118 Main St. Huntley
Tour of fire station, meet, and greet with Huntley Firefighters and Fire Chief. Showcase of the fire equipment and new fire station.
Thursday, August 4 | 4 to 8 p.m. Enjoy Your Library
Location: Parisek Park
Do not miss this end of Summer Reading Celebration for all ages! Spend a fun-filled afternoon on library grounds enjoying a petting zoo, food trucks, and a one-of-a-kind celebration featuring a musical chairs scavenger hunt, and other parking lot games and dance contests.
- A Zoo To You: 4 to 6 p.m. Enjoy a visit with sheep, goats, chickens, and a little cow on the library lawn. You can pet and feed them too!
- Kona Ice: 5 to 7:30 pm. Enjoy delicious, shaved ice treat from Kona Ice. The Library’s Friends Foundation will receive 20% of all Kona Ice sales for the event.
- Kissed By Fire BBQ and Pizza Food Truck: 5 to 7:30 p.m. Enjoy Smoked BBQ and Specialty Pizzas made fresh from the best ingredients. See their menu at www.kissedbyfire.net.
- Music Mania: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Enjoy a musical chairs scavenger hunt, parking lot games, and dance contests as we close out the 2022 Summer Reading Adventure.
