Principal
Mr. Iddings joined Huntley 158 more than 25 years ago and served as a teacher and assistant principal prior to becoming principal at Leggee in 2004. Mr. Iddings holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from St. Xavier University and a second master’s from Aurora University for his Type 75 Administrative Degree. He truly enjoys the staff, students, and families he gets to work with during the school year.

Assistant Principal
Mrs. Mitchell joined Leggee Elementary School as assistant principal to start the 2023-24 school year. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Millikin University and holds a master’s of science degree in middle school mathematics from Walden University and a master’s degree in educational administration from Purdue University—Calumet. Over the course of her career, Stephanie has served on several committees to develop and monitor school improvement plans, worked to connect with a wide range of students and families, and has prioritized a positive school climate for the students and staff she serves.
