Welcome to Huntley District 158 Theatre

On behalf of the directors, cast, pit band, and tech crew members, we are pleased to announce our 2022-2023 theatre season, SOMETHING OLD – SOMETHING NEW.

Year after year, hundreds of student actors, technical crew, ensemble members, and pit band members join together with our behind the scenes teams of directors, scenic designers, construction crews, painters, technical directors, and several others to bring the magic of theatre to the Huntley community. We are proud to say that we strive to deliver a variety of quality theater entertainment – from musicals and the classics to comedies, dramas and mysteries – brought to life by passionate young artists.

For the 2022-2023 theatre season, our Mainstage performances, held in the District 158 Performing Arts Center at Huntley High School, will feature an array of SOMETHING OLD – SOMETHING NEW. This year’s performances include: Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr., an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland by Anne Coulter Martens, Clue – High School Edition, The Day the Internet Died, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr., and the 2012 Revised Version of Godspell.

Our Spotlight shows, held in the Centennial Blackbox Theater, a more intimate setting at Huntley High School, will include two evening Improv Shows, the annual One Act Plays Festival, a one-night special performance of this years’ Contest Theatre production, and HHS Thespian Troupe 6147’s annual show.

On behalf of our students and production teams, we are grateful for the commitment and support of the Board of Education members and administrators, and give special thanks to our business and community partners, and to you for your support through ticket purchases, advertising and donations.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
