Leggee Elementary School recently received a letter of thanks from the American Heart Association in recognition of the school’s donation of $17,135.20 raised through Jump Rope for Heart.
The program provides positive health benefits, fun exercise, and heart disease awareness to students. In addition, the events also promote teamwork, build school spirit, and give students the opportunity to contribute to their community.
Combined, Huntley 158 schools have raised millions of dollars over the years by participating in the program.
