High School-Middle School Dual Credit Courses

At Heineman and Marlowe Middle Schools, some advanced-level courses are able to count for both middle school and high school credit.

Before 2016 it was not allowed to offer high school credit to middle school students, even if they were taking high school courses. After the state changed the school code, the decision was made to award the high school credit for the equivalent middle school courses.

Currently this option is available for the following courses: Algebra I (H), Geometry (H), English I (H), Chinese I, Spanish I
