Twenty-four students from the Huntley High School Medical Academy are pioneering a medical residency program in partnership with Centegra Health System.
Believed to be the first-of-its-kind in the U.S., the program gives students the opportunity to shadow healthcare professionals for several hours each week in departments throughout the new Centegra Hospital-Huntley and other facilities, made possible through the school’s nationally recognized Alpha Courses Blended Learning program.
On this episode of Huntley 158 Today, we check in with three students about their experiences so far.
