It is the mission of Huntley Community School District 158 to be a learning community that will inspire, challenge, and empower ALL students always. As the demographics of our district changes, we are faced with more complex challenges in meeting the needs of our increasingly diverse student population.
In service of this challenge, the District has committed to viewing all decision making through an equity lens. This means that decisions in curriculum and instruction, operations, fiscal services, and all other areas of the District are made after analyzing the impacts they will have on our under-served and marginalized populations, as well as proactively and to identifying and eliminating inequities.
Huntley 158 offers a number of specialized programs to meet the needs of our diverse student populations. Our students learn in a variety of different styles, speak dozens of different native languages, face different challenges, and are best served with programming tailored to their needs.
