Huntley High School’s Vanguard Vision program is a competency-based education program in which students spend half of their days in a distinctive personalized learning environment. The program is one of the first 10 of its kind in the State of Illinois’ first competency-based education pilot program.

A cohort of 120 freshman students completed the first year of the program in the 2018-19 school year. Future classes will be enrolling as freshmen in each of the coming years.
