The Technology Department provides support for the educational and operational needs of the district.
The Technology Department is focused on serving the needs of the students, teachers and staff of School District 158. Technology has become an integral part of the educational process and it is our job to ensure that all systems are highly available and secure.
The Technology Department is dedicated to supporting hardware and software applications for all areas of the district, including: Transportation, Operations & Maintenance, Student Information Services, Food Service, Curriculum & Instruction, Assessment, Special Services, Human Resources, Finance, Library, Internet/Network Access, Educational/Instructional Software, Intercom, Clocks, Radios, Cell Phones, Copiers, E-mail, Phone Systems, Inventory and much more.
Our goal as a district is to have the above systems operating at the highest level so that the focus can continue to be in the classroom where teachers are making the greatest impact in educating the children of Huntley 158.
