Huntley Community School District 158 is excited to offer a full day of professional development for administrators, school business officers, and educators regarding innovative solutions on issues facing educational institutions.
Each year hundreds of educators and administrators from schools and districts around the country visit Huntley Community School District 158 to learn about our innovative programs. To accommodate these visitors, the District has designed a full-day professional development opportunity, offered on select dates annually.
Innovation Days will include a full day of sessions, networking/Q&A, and classroom visits. The day will begin with a keynote presentation on innovation from a panel of district administrators and will follow with discussions, sessions, and site visits related to your purpose for attending.
Innovative Topics include:
- Blended Learning – High School only
- PBIS – High School only
- Always Initiative (1:1 Implementation)
- Collaborative Learning Spaces

- Topic that you are most interested in
- Level for site visit (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Lunch preference (salad or sandwich)
- Dietary needs
