When a mama duck recently laid her eggs in the Mackeben Elementary School courtyard, 25 teachers, staff and former students proved their superhero credentials to stay after school to guide the ducklings to safety!
Art teacher Megan Van Ness coordinated a successful “rescue operation” last week to help the mama duck and her 11 ducklings made it to the great outdoors.
